We are happy to share some exciting news: our much celebrated monthly jazz series will return to the W Gallery on Sun., June 13, at 1 p.m., featuring the amazing The Neil&Scott Duo +2 quarter. Neil and Scott have been playing together for over 30 years in a variety of ensemble settings, including their duo recording “Colaboraçaõ.” On June 13, they will be joined by bassist Bob Nieske, who has worked with a host of great musicians: Dave Grisman, Stephane Grappelli, George Russell and the Living Time Orchestra, Jay Geils, Duke Robillard, The Either Orchestra, Ronnie Earl, and Larry Coryell, as well as making his own original recordings, and drummer Casey Scheuerel, who has performed with Chaka Khan, Jean-Luc Ponty, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Dizzy Gillespie, and others. The Sunday concert will feature the music of Lennie Niehaus, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson originals, and jazz standards.
