This is a unique opportunity for Member Artists to sketch using their preferred media – charcoal, pastel, paint – as renowned performance artist Janet Park moves and poses in expressive and beautiful ways. Some poses will be of short duration, others will be held for longer. The artist will be wearing a dress that will add to the expressive possibilities of the poses.
Registration is required for artists sketching. There are a limited number of spots for easels. A model fee of $15 per participant sketching should be made online. Member Artists and the public not sketching may observe for a suggested donation of $5 at the door.
About the artist: Janet Park performs worldwide her unique and expressive language of body movement. She will be performing a movement work at the Museum of Fine Arts later in February.
